About Our Speaker:

Rachel Leatham is the director of the Office of Career and Student Success. Prior to joining the Humphrey School, she was an associate director of the Career Center at Carleton College.

Previously she served in many roles, including diplomat and financial economist with the U.S. Department of State, and asylum officer as a Presidential Management Fellow with the Department of Justice. She has served in several leadership roles in professional associations as well as local government.

Rachel is passionate about creating vibrant, inclusive, and healthy communities. At the Humphrey School, this means supporting students and colleagues as they discover their career aspirations and paths forward.

Rachel is a strong believer in the power of coaching, helping individuals to gain new insights and perspectives to create transformation.

Rachel is a proud Humphrey School alumna, earning her Master of Public Policy with an emphasis in international development. She earned her bachelor's degree at the University of Minnesota, Morris, where she majored in French and a self-designed Liberal Arts for the Human Services. She has a certificate in e-CO Leadership Coaching from George Washington University.
